Springtime means that cool and dreary weather is on the outs and sunshine, is finally in the forecast. It’s a time of the year where you once again enjoy a cup of coffee out on the front porch, admire your handy work in the garden, and enjoy events around your community.
This spring of 2018 in Branson, it means it is time to get out of the house and soak up the warmer weather with your family! Whether that means taking a fishing trip to one of the surrounding lakes, hiking through the blooming wildflowers, or attending one of Branson’s many spring time events, your in luck!
We’ve compiled a list of all the wonderful happenings going on in this spring of 2018 in Branson. From Elvis impersonators to farmers markets – there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
The Festival of Wonder
When: April 11th-29th
Every year The Festival of Wonder creates a world of curiosity, magic, and fun for the families of Branson. You’ll be met with a menu of outrageous food such as alligator on a stick, Nutella s’mores, and bacon cannoli’s, in addition to the following shows that will leave you and your family stunned:
CirqueUnique
Upside down bicycles, fire jugglers, and high wires, oh my! This electrifying show is full of unbelievable acrobatic performers with acts so wild you’ll be on the edge of your seat throughout the entire spectacle.
The Earth Harp Collective
Behold the sound of the longest playable string instrument on earth! With strings that stretch the length of Red Gold Heritage Hall, this musical masterpiece is sure to strike you with a sense of wonder and awe, all while delighting your ears.
Harp and Hang Drum
While these instruments may not be as impressive as the world’s longest, they still deliver a beautiful, relaxing, and hypnotic show.
PAINTJAM With Ricardo Barazza
Forget Bob Ross and happy little trees! This show takes painting from a relaxing pass time to a full blown high-speed experience. Watch Ricardo Barazza create visual masterpieces before your eyes in a matter of minutes – all while you try to guess what the end result will be!
Radim Zinkl
This musical performance will take you on a trip around the globe. With six different instruments from six different countries, you’ll be immersed in different cultures, continents, and times.
Vitaly Beckman
Prepare to be amazed! This show will have you questioning reality as you know it with mind bending illusions and tricks! Watch as Vitaly bring drawings to life, erases participants from their driver’s license, and much more!
X-POGO
This is something you really have to see to believe. Watch as these extreme pogo performers attempt to do massive backflips, 10 foot jumps, and other incredible, gravity defying tricks.

Branson Music Fest
When: April 20th-21st
It wouldn’t be spring time in Branson without the annual music fest! Two days full of music from Branson’s most popular musical stars such as The Oak Ridge Boys, Clay Cooper, The Haygoods, Mickey Gilley, Johnny Lee, and Million Dollar Quartet. In addition to stellar performances from the biggest names in Branson, the event will have a marketplace with over 40 booths of local goods, a celebrity iron chef style cook off, and a photo booth with your favorite entertainers. It’s guaranteed to be a good time for your whole family!
Branson Car Auction
When: April 20th-21st
If you’ve been searching for a new collectible or you just love vintage vehicles, you don’t want to miss the Branson Car Auction! This two day event will feature cars such a 1936 Auburn 852SC Cabriolet, 1941 Cadillac Series 62 convertible coupe, 1966 Ford Mustang GT K-Code, and many more. If you wish to participate in bidding, you must pre-register on their website. General admissions are welcomed to come view the vehicles and watch the action as well. Take a look at their website to view all the classic collectible cars that will be up for grabs!
Branson Farmers Market
When: April 24th-October 30th
Nothing says spring quite like a farmer’s market! Every Tuesday from now until October the Branson Farmers Market will be open from 3pm-7pm in the Branson Landing’s south parking lot. Enjoy a warm night out with your family by walking through the rows of vendors selling fresh produce, artisan soaps, baked goods, and other handmade local goods.
Bluegrass & BBQ Festival
When: May 3rd-28th
Head on over to Silver Dollar City for their annual Bluegrass & BBQ festival during the month of May. During the course of this event, over 60 of the biggest names in bluegrass will be performing on stage while local vendors serve up some of the most mouthwatering BBQ dishes out there. Branson Market Days
When: May 11th-12th
This wonderful spring market is hosted by the convention center every Mother’s Day weekend, and features over 100 vendors. Bring your friends, or browse alone for handmade goods, vintage & antique finds, repurposed furniture, one of a kind jewelry, garden & yard décor, local art, and more. After all, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure! The market goes from 9am-6pm each days and costs $5 for entry.
